Marc Rogers is the friend who took J.T. to Nashville in 1982 and helped him get started as a guitar player in the city. Marc played guitar for Little Jimmy Dickens, Kitty Wells, and David Lee Murphy among others, and maintained a close friendship with J.T. throughout the years. In this interview Marc talks about J.T.’s early days in Nashville, what he was like as a live player, and how J.T. got to work with some of his heroes.
